In April 2007, Ubuntu Network members from the Department of Education and Professional Studies, University of Limerick and the Curriculum Development Unit visited members of the National University of Rwanda, Butare and Polytechnic University, Kigali.
The purpose of the visit was to develop relationships with teacher educators in the Rwandan institutions.
