The School of Education at NUI Galway held its Development Education Day on Wednesday, 13th February.
NUI Galway students on the Professional Diploma in Education, Dioplóma Gairmiúil san Oideachas and the BA in Mathematics and Education programmes participated in the event.
The Development Education Day facilitated participants in learning about and discussing key issues within Development Education and how they might bring development issues into the classroom. In particular, it provided student teachers with an opportunity to explore development issues in their chosen subject areas.
